R[h]eingin
Less is more. That’s what Tim Lamm and Johannes Weigl, the brains behind R[h]eingin (a play on the German word for “pure” ‒ rein‒ and the Rhine), had in mind when they decided to start making gin. These two Düsseldorfers take a streamlined approach, using only pure, multilayered alcohol and just the right mix of juniper berries. The result? Something that’s got what it takes to become a real Düsseldorf icon: just like the Düsseldorf Palace Tower, whose coordinates, not so coincidentally, adorn the R[h]eingin bottle.
