Ron Elba
Rum from the far north of Germany; can it be good for anything? Oh yes, and then some. In April 2017, a process engineer and a legal scholar released a rum after two years in development, which comes entirely without additives and is as “dry” as the Hamburg humour. Since then, Hannes Köhm and Daniel Ratschke have caused a sensation with their “dry” rum at various spirits competitions.

Bottle shape IMPERIALE SUPREME In allusion to the rum's origins, the design is dominated by the "Stencil" font, which can also be seen on the many containers at Hamburg harbour. The logo is immortalised on the cork through hot stamping.
SYMBIOSIS OFNORTH AND SOUTH
With an alcohol volume of 47 %, Ron Elba goes straight in the "strong" category. Multiple distillation stops the sharpness from having too much of an impact, however. The quality of the Mauritian molasses, used in the manufacture, also plays its part, making this rum a superb, aromatic distillate.
