CRISTALLO GOES KARAKTERRE
Karakterre is one of the world’s leading wine festivals and presents a variety of organic, biodynamic and natural wines from Central and Eastern Europe over two days. The event takes place annually at Esterhazy Castle in Eisenstadt and the Rockefeller Centre in New York. It is strongly committed to ecological values and supports wineries that are committed to sustainability.
The origins of Karakterre date back to 2011, when a small group of winemakers set off on a two-day promotional tour of Zagreb (Croatia) and Ljubljana (Slovenia). As the festival grew in size and importance, it was moved to Vienna in 2014 and is now established as the European version in Eisenstadt.
This year, newcomers and established names from the natural wine scene will once again meet at the Karakterre Festival – and CRISTALLO is right in the middle of it all. The unique collection of wine bottles made almost exclusively from recycled glass as the centrepiece of CRISTALLO’s appearance at Karakterre.
